FAQ

What are the base ingredients in your bars?
The bulk of my bars are olive oil based. Each bar is formulated a little differently, but usually contain some combination of avocado oil, coconut oil, castor oil, sunflower oil, shea butter, cocoa butter, and kokum butter. For environmental reasons, I do not use animal products or palm oil in any of my bars. Each bar comes labeled with the ingredients list.

What kind of scents to you use in your bars?
The majority of my bars are scented with essential oil blends I create myself. I also use fragrance oils in some of my recipes because sometimes the fun scents just can’t be passed up on. All of the fragrance I use are prop 65 certified, and nearly all of them are Phthalate Free, Paraben Free, SLS + SLES Free.
If you have any questions about a bar, please feel free to reach out to me. I love talking about my ingredients!

What is used to color your bars?
I love using natural colorants, in the forms of clays, roots and seeds, to achieve the colors in my bars. If I am looking for a more vibrant, pigmented result, I will use mica powers. I exclusively source my mica powders from Mad Micas which offer the highest quality micas on the market. See the hyperlink for their quality & ethics statement.
